Angel's passion and professional focus is working with those suffering from chronic pain using a holistic approach grounded by the latest developments in pain research. Her interest stems from her own battle with chronic pain and her experience as a dancer and yoga/Pilates practitioner, which have affirmed to her the power of movement to heal the body and mind. Angel approaches her work with patients with the goal

of developing body awareness and rediscovering the pleasure of movement in order to move smarter not just stronger.

Angel previously volunteered as a movement facilitator with the Austin-based nonprofit Truth Be Told where she worked with incarcerated women at the Lockhart Correctional Facility teaching them to tell and process their stories through the creative practice of Authentic Movement.

Angel lives with her husband and 3-year old daughter on a ranch in Smithville, Texas where she spends her free time gardening, taking nature walks, and killing bull nettle.
